The latest edition just hit my in-box and I thought I’d pass along to you what I think about it.

It always contains interesting articles on business trends, books, etc. If you have never seen it, check it out – especially, for IT people, the “managing technology” tab. But I recommend browsing all of the topics – strategic management, operations management, etc. You will almost certainly find something that is of interest to you, your employer, customer, or business partners.

BTW, if you do consultative selling, this is a great resource to help you stay current on a wide variety of business and technology issues. You’ll encounter some of the most current thinking on these issues.

Gartner has issued a press release suggesting ten ways in which the world of work will change over the next ten years:

It’s an interesting discussion and I was pleased to see how closely these ten changes correspond with the (always evolving) direction of the IEM Program. We are currently rolling out virtual access, incorporating more real-world collaborative and virtual-teaming activities, and doing the groundwork for possible new offerings in the areas of business experimentation and analytics.
